christine mathias attorney joshua tree

Hi, I’m Christine Mathias

I am an attorney licensed in California with over 10 years of legal experience. I am passionate about helping people in my community. As an experienced researcher, problem solver, and innovative thinker, I help businesses and individuals all over California by providing virtual legal services.

I specialize in business law, bankruptcy, nonprofits, and trademarks.

My Biography

After graduating from law school in 2009, I started my own general law practice in Vermont. I am also a legal writer and editor, I have published hundreds of articles to help people understand the legal process. I have written for websites such as Legal Zoom, eHow, and Nolo.

I have varied experience starting and running small businesses and nonprofits. I was the director of a small public library in New Mexico and co-founder and executive director of Girls Rock Vermont. Always an entrepreneur at heart, I have run many businesses, from yoga to bookkeeping.

After moving to California and before returning to private practice, I worked as a law librarian at the San Diego County Law Library and the University of San Diego School of Law. These experiences allowed me to hone my research skills, particularly in California law.
